If she wasn’t rooting for Tip she’d be rooting for Kerry.
Well, Ummmm we have Sam!
Pity we couldn’t banter together. That’d have been a bit of AB fun….:-(

So you knew Ummm in person Gness? I wasn't sure ... I liked a bit of AB banter with her on here, She knew how on the very rare, odd occasion I can be a little cheeky.
No comprendo!!
Oh she would have enjoyed that.
Despite being in the North I never knew who was playing who and she always used to message me with ‘Up the Tip’
I miss her so much, straight talking, taking no carp, as honest as they come with a heart of gold, but hurt someone she cared about and the unleashed the gates of hell on you.
Ummmm's a poster of AB who sadly passed away, Gness in the Pub... the rest is Irish so no idea.
^^ Thank you.
I hope her family are well .

No, Arky but Dave did. Ummmm and I bantered about Ireland. She was Tip to the core. I’m Kerry and Mayo.
Sam is the cup all Ireland proper football teams fight for each year in Dublin.
We are on DO’s pub patio still celebrating. It was close against Galway this year and I was sent out to light candles in the church and pray to Saint Sebastian when Galway was ahead. It worked. :-)
Indeed, Helen. Much missed and bloody unfair that she left us. :-(
I thought you may of fallen off your chair or dragged out of the pub ;-)

SD and Ummm is a connection I'd never have made, not that I look for them obviously, some are a bit of a give-a-way.

Gaelic football is cheating in my eyes, you can't pick up the ball and run with it, Auzzie rules football is even worse.
Question Author
If you’re Irish you can, Arky…..just because you’re Irish.
Well ... yes ok erm ... enough said. :-))

Well done on your win... I don't want to know the details of a Victorious team.
*what happens to them that is...
Question Author
Okay, Arky....I won't bore you with details of the victorious team other than to say....well done Seanie and Sam is coming to our village for a parade! Bliss....!
That will be a fantastic day and one to celebrate in our pubs....we quite like celebrating in our pubs.... :-)
Possibly the best afternoon ever in my adopted village/county/country - we were a bunch of disparate people brought together by the love of Guinness, food and craic - and Kerry won the football too. Ummmm would have loved the whole thing.

Sláinte

SD xx

Phew! thank you...

That sounds an awesome do. be safe and have fun Xx
Well done SD, as just posted have a good evening Ummm would've loved it Im sure, she did post about being in Ireland.

You don't have to post but being nosey, were you a relation of Ummm's?
Question Author
ahh....you're welcome, Arky.... ;-). Was an awesome afternoon...even the touring Dubs joined us for the craic.

You're right, Dave, Ummmm would have joined in the fun and leg pulling...that's much missed now.
Question Author
Dave's gone to watch something to do with cars, Arky so if he doesn't see your post..no...he and Ummmm were friends.
Ummmm and Dave had been friends for a long time, I think the same amount of time as ummmm and I had been friends.
I miss her dreadfully, I miss her little messages to me each day and her kick up the backside when I needed it.
Why are the good ones taken early and the dross left behind
Question Author
I often wonder that, Helen. We've had a few deaths in the village of late. Folk too young and so giving.
Thank you Gness and Helen, she were taken from us those that didn't even know her personally, it were a shocker 49 I believe.
