Absolutely Ridiculous Pain - Any Idea?

When I sneeze I get a very sharp pain in my left outer thigh, rather like a bee sting. It is enough to make me yelp but fortunately lasts only a few seconds. On occasion it is more severe and feels as if the skin has split (it hasn't).

I am curious as to what the connection could be between the sneeze and the thigh pain.

It sounds as though it is root pain from your lumbo-sacral spine probably due to a bit of wear and tear in the joints. A sort of temporary, minor, insignificant momentary slipped disc........no big deal.

Cheers, Sqad. I wasn't fretting about it, just a very strange reaction to a sneeze.

But now I know :)
I sometimes get a pain in my shoulder when I yawn. The body is a weird....
I have noticed a slight swelling under the skin of my jaw just in front of my ear.

i thought it was connected to an abcess I picked up on a tooth (now extracted) but a couple of months on, I was alarmed at the swelling i saw in the mirror this morning.

It is tender to the touch, but otherwise no pain. I am having an X-ray at the dentist this afternoon, but meanwhile, any ideas?
Apologies hc - I was posting a Question, and put it in as a response on your thread.

I have been here long enough to know better (!) - again, apologies.
