Hi all Im just puzzled about this really, its not like a major issue or anything but...

If I eat something relativley large say, an hour or less prior to goin to bed, in the morning I wake up absolutley famished. Im talking proper pains in my big belly! Usually the only thing that helps is eating a large breakfast. Now obviously if I want to stop this I just dont eat before bedtime (d'uh!) and I have so all I'm wanting is to know is why this happens, whats goin on overnight inside me. Surely if I eat big last thing then I should be fine for hours after (this bein the case if eating a huge lunch). Any ideas???

I always find that if i eat late at night then i am really hungry in the moring like yourself so i just make sure i eat before 8 if possible and i am fine. Not sure how this works exactly as it sounds a bit backwards doesn't it, maybe someone else can help to clarify.
Apparently a teaspoon of honey before you go to bed is supposed to help balance your blood sugar overnight and make you less hungry in the morning.
