On the subject of Tomatoes

I always say that I dont like raw tomatoes ans cooked carrots(unless the latter are in a casserole). However I have come to realise that the reason I dont like raw toms is that now adays you only get very ripe ones and I prefer them a little greener -How about you?

Ripe home grown ones are the best.

noway a little firm and slightly greeny orange but agree home grown are best

Ripe home grown,sliced,20sec.in microwave then placed on a bacon sandwich,yummy

T'other way round. Not keen on cooked tomatoes and hate raw carrots.

I like the 'cherry' ones... they do tend to squirt a bit when you first chomp on them but that's half the fun ...isn't it!
