Hang around in "News"
My blood pressure has been low for years, I have no problems so far, but understand that if it does become a problem, then is hard to treat!.......
You're right, blood pressure has been low for some time now,but with the ITV 2 repeats at 13:30 you should be able to get it back up again.
eat loads of chips
if you mean that you feel well, have seen you GP, are not on any medication.......................then what is the problem?

Nothing need be done.
I was told by my GP that mt BP was low and that people with low BP live longer. Sqad, is he right or is it just another load of crap he's spouting?
Welshy....sorry, just had my swim and made a cuppa and seen your post.

Not quite a load of "cr@p" but ...almost ;-)

He probably meant that you were less likely to have a stroke or heart attack....but there are plenty of other things that could shorten you life.

For me. it is advanced syphilis and gonorrhea...but keep it to yourself eh?
No chance of me getting that Sqad - i'm still looking for a willing partner - and NO i'm not asking!!!
Welshy..LOL
Seriously though, Sqad, a locum doctor told me at our surgery that i should take more salt to increase my BP - is that something that you, as a doc, would advise people to do?
For me. it is advanced syphilis and gonorrhea...but keep it to yourself eh?

I rather think it should be you keeping it to yourself sqad! :)
I have low blood pressure and 2 heart attacks so I'm confused now!!!
bednobs..;-)

Welshy....i my opinion that is bad advice.....don't increase your salt intake.

365038bet.......there you go..........
I don't intend to, Sqad, my son moans at the amount I use now. He says I use to much in cooking and he's a chef - I cook he criticises!!!
If you have very low blood pressure in later life, you may be prone to having falls, which might result in broken bones. You may get dizzy on getting up from a bed or from a chair. If this happens to you and you fear falling, just wave your arms and legs about before you try to get up.
Apart from all that, rejoice that most of the major risks are lower for you. ( heart attack, stroke, kidney damage, etc) Unless you also have Raynaud's disease. If you do, you stand a slightly higher risk of gangrene and ( just possibly) amputation than the rest of the population - but probably only in later life.
I should know, I have both.
