How do you know it is sleep apnoea?
That sounds like my normal sleep pattern, I don't have sleep apnoea.
I have the exact problems but havn't been diagnosed. I take Nytol if i've had 2 bad nights on the run & this gives me a good nights sleep.

sorry, was trying to find out if this is what I had
mala....severe nasal obstruction, particularly at night, with loud snoring. This leads to low O2 levels in the blood and the feeling of tiredness during the day and frequently dropping off to sleep at inopportune moments.

For a fuller appraisal Google it.
Do you snore? I might not be sleep apnoea if you don`t snore. Maybe you are just someone who needs more sleep
having been diagnosed with sleep apnoea myself , i found that i was falling asleep for no apparent reason both at home but also more worrying at work. It seems to be a problem with shift workers who have fat necks ( size 18 or above collar ). This is not always the case, however, erratic sleep pattern caused by air not getting through prevents normal oxygen levels which mean that you do not sleep deep or long enough . I would suggest that a visit to your doctor and a referral to a sleep clinic. You may have to give up driving until it is sorted, good luck. Mr Cupid.
I usually wake up 3 or 4 times a night and before the alarm in the morning but I don't feel too bad during the day. If you don't worry about it and realise that as long as you are resting you don't actually have to be asleep

Thanks to all
Hi,
I think you are not getting enough sleep at night and that's why you don't feel fresh and energetic througout the day.If you have been diagnosed with sleep apna, i would suggest you to start using a cpap machine before things get worse. Usually people need a surgery if ther at the last stage of sleep apnea and for your age, i think surgery should be the last resort for you.
