Help - toe nail trauma!....a bit detached...now oooozing a bit

Help with advice if you possibly can...seems to be ooozing a bit after misjudging a step on monday night...bit of bleeding then (+ a lot of pain ever since!)...not really what i would call loose or hanging off...but ooozing a bit of clear stuff from edge now - worried it is now blimmin infected?!? (hanging washing out can be hazzardous!)
Any advice?...will be gratefully received x

wonder if I need anti-biotics...I I don't like having to take them....avoid them as best I can!...but the ooozing - anyone know if it is just healing or is it likely infection needing antibiotics?
Thanks if you have anything helpful...sitting with big toe in salty cold water now!...argggggggggh!

I would doubt if the "oozing" suggests infection and the need for antibiotics would depend upon whether the toe was red swollen and inflamed.
The oozing may well be blood clot breaking down.
if the features i have described above are present, then see your GP, otherwise, just rest the foot as much as possible and monitor the situation.
