My 17 mth old has banged his mouth on a toy and his lip is swollen slightly at the top. I dont know if I'm being paranoid or not but it looks slightly different and his top frenulum looks like it is stuck in his teeth. It doesnt look horrendous or anything and he is drinking fine and still shoving things in his mouth. He just screams when I try to look and move it. Will this settle on its own or does he need to go to docs?

Phoned docs for advice but they wouldnt speak over phone so had to take him down. Since then he has drunk loads which must have soothed it as it has gone down and he's now fine. Thanks: )
