Has anyone used fake tan lotion to colour their hair? Is there any reason why it would harm your hair? Thanks

Would it stay for more than one wash?
Why would you want to...
Is there any reason it would actually colour your hair?

I asked someone what they coloured their hair with as I liked the shade and they said fake tan. Guess it would be a lot cheaper, doesn't use bleach and is quite easy. Wondered on others' opinions.
if you do try it, let us know how you get on! *intrigued*
Take a risk then potty,if it all goes pear shaped..
sounds utterly bonkers...cuprinol, anyone? x
Can't see it working really, you'll have to wear gloves, and wipe off any excess from your face and neck, and anywhere it spills or you'll end up like a dalmatian. lol
The words "recipe for disaster" spring to mind.
just imagine if it starts to rain and you had a colour run...! x
Fake tan smells horrible too. So presumably this is put on fair hair and it comes out orangey/ginger?
But the colour your hair ends up being, would also depend on what colour your hair was to start with. If either you or your friend have light hair and the other has dark, then the results will vary.
most fake tans have oil in them and not suitable for coloring hair. You can get color mousse, that last till next shampoo.
I was just thinking that, I would imagine your hair would look quite greasy and lank with fake tan in it
Pottyone, you are.
