Hi all.
I have long blonde hair and I've spent ages getting it all one length. Now I really want some layers put back in. But I want it doing NOW!
So, is it a very bad idea to have a go myself? Or would it be easy to do? Any directions??
Thanks

Don't do it! Call hairdressers, I'm assuming if you've got time to do it yourself you can get to a hairdressers. There are often appointments mid afternoon or early Saturday morning when no one else wants to get up!

Hmmmm....ok then. I have a 10 month old so not easy to just nip to the hairdressers you see. Oh well. I'll try and stay away from the scissors....
Simple standard layer cut: Head down, gather hair at front forehead & tie with rubber-band. Cut ends to exact same length - done!
and if you pull hair back into low ponytail and cut stright across you get one of those slopey to the front bobs.
Tamborine, I usually do what you do (when i had long hair) and it totally works!

I don't want to make the longest part any shorter than it is though...Would it still work?
