Have you ever had a professional facial done in a salon? Approx how much did you pay, was it worth it & how long did the effect last? I'd never really thought about it until a friend recently mentioned she'd like one so I'm considering going too - we could both do with a bit of cheering up.

yay! do we both get free holiday then? I've trained Tarquin well, he can cook, do diy, & shop faster than anyone I know.
Right, he can come over but not sure about having yet another old woman here, I'm quite the eccentric and don't want another one! shoo shoo!!
all seems to be fine now, thanks to Tarquin (oh and I suppose his mum too!)

<I'm already starting to wish we'd never helped her fix it>
hello all just a real quick pop in to see how you all are, Neti give that black dog a kick in the nadgers from me won't you...haven't read the thread, just wanted to say hi and give you all a biddy hug...you too Vinny but keep your hands to yourself. I will catch up again soon, someone tell me where you are decamping to, my vote is for somewhere sunny with those posh loungers and cocktails in a pineapple.

oh hi woofy, hope you're ok...there's only me here dans le salon ....well George's here, singing to me, unplugged, (undressed would be better, haha....don't tut, that cb lot didn't invent sex). We'll be loitering around here for a while, I think there's a new home but I'm not sure if it's open yet..... must be having the stannahs & lav seat warmers fitted.

Evening folks
Flaming June ? Flaming freezing .I'm back in me cardi and jeans clouts and I had to iron a pair of socks:).
Nice to see you Woofy and glad Neti seems to be back on form .
I don't know where you want to go .You can waffle in my shopping thread if you like or you can help me take fatsia cuttings which was years ago and I still haven't got any to take !

I'll leave it to the chief beautician to sort out .She's good at that :))
Just popped in to say hello. Apologies if I have missed out on lots of your news, I can't keep up these days. Hope you are all OK and that you are soon feeling your old self Neti.

Mr LL is doing very well. (He had a heart attack - but just keep that news amongst yourselves - it was no big deal after all so I won't bother with announcing it it B&S ;o) !!!) He was extremely lucky that our county hospital is one of the nine hospitals in the UK that is a designated cardiac centre and the treatment he got was second to none. He actually was home and up and running within a few days and feels extremely well. Because of the speedy treatment he is likely to recover completely. He actually looks and feels a lot better than I do!!

With my mum's traumatic last illness and subsequent passing, all the funeral and probate arrangements (I took the funeral myself) followed within just 2 weeks by the shock of Mr LL's attack, I now feel absolutely shell shocked, but things are slowly getting better.

Where is all this rain - it's been lovely here on our side of the county today Shaney. Been to Pensthorpe (of Springwatch fame) today - Just down the road from us. They had a garden and food fayre - a really nice low key event and the sun shined down on us.

Let me know when the Biddies move home!! Robinia usually guides me there.

Be sure I will be back.............

Oooh Yoohoo Lofty
Pleased to hear that everything is going well with Mr LL .
These things all take time .
We've had no rain down here ,bright sunshine in fact but that cold east wind goes through you instead of round you as they say in these parts .
I think I'll transfer to NN and live with you .It seems warmer up there at the moment
.No chance of going to live with Neti . She has a barrier round Ibiza in case George tries to do a runner and Robinia hasn't finished decorating the outside lav yet .
Lovely to see you ..take care xxxx

morning...<yawns>...oh, please excuse I, the amount of sleep I had last night wasn't worth putting me wincy on for...I must get a lappy so I can waft around AB in the witching hour & drag a few skellies out of a few closets.

Don't bother moving here, just 'arkatit...it's hammering down & thundering. Looks like it's put paid to my plans & about 20,000 others in the Derby area, a big carnival has been postponed, such a bloomin' shame.

Great news about mr LL Lottie, all the best to him for a complete recovery. And if you happen to spot Chris Packham give him a kiss from me, I've had a thing about him since the Really Wild show. (I really must quit taking this hrt)

That one ^ ^ will do nicely thanks shaney! It's just what we need, a couple of weeks squelching around a Bud Glob in the driving rain, it'll wash out these hideous tints...well I didn't know they'd turn green, you should have stuck with the blue rinse. Besides, when we've all got tie-dyed faces we can go into B&S & ask them to diagnose that! Altogether now....

<tut...plastic macs & wellies a go-go again...why do we agree to these things?...mumble...>

Grrrr - still having to sign-in!!

Lovely day, have to go and vote in the European elections for the first time, cos if I don't vote then I can't moan.

Lovely day here, of course, I think black dog has done a runner - hallelujah - and hopefully never to return.

LL so sorry for you and Mr LL. Glad he's recovering well though. These husbands they are a worry aren't they?
Good Morning All though what's good about it I don't know. Like Robi says it's been thundering and lightning over here.

Hi Woofy and Lottie Hope things get back to normal for you both. And Neti pleased to hear the Black dog has made a hasty retreat.

I went out last night having forgotten I was supposed to be going with my sis. Her daughter plays in a band (think I mentioned before) for charity and it was one of her gigs last night. My other sister came as well with her partner so it was a bit of a family affair and a good night was had by all.

Anyway I hope you all have a peaceful Sunday. I'm watching the Tennis final then I will be looking forward to Wimbledon.

See you soon, are we going where Shaney suggests. I expect you will let me know Robi if you don't mind ! xx
