My hair straighteners have become slightly tinged with burnt residue, probably stuck on bits of product. What can I use to remove this? Any ideas?

I agree with the other aber.
Clean them when they are warm.
Use shampoo, washing up liquid or baby oil. I you clean them after each use hile warm, they will not get products sticking to them.
I use shampoo!! My straightners always become greesy after a few weeks so have to clean it!!
use a clean sponge you use to normally wash the pots with and very gently scrub when the straightners are slightly warm xx
