Does anyone have instructions on how to put a Marcel wave into ladies hair, using curling tongs?

What I do is roll the section of hair between your two index fingers, secure with a grip and hold between the hot tongs for a few seconds. Leave the grip till all the sections are done, blast with a hairdryer (wear a chiffon scarf) then remove all the grips, and hey presto! A lovely 'Marcel' look!
