Making Hair Wavy

Is there something you can buy that heats up to make hair wavy/curly that's also easy to use

Hot brush. Hot tongs. Heated rollers. Loads of stuff...

Ummmm I can't seem to get on with tongs or a hot brush wondered if there is something similar to straighteners that curl

I saw an advert on tv showing something that you just slide down your straight hair and when it gets to the bottom of the strand, it is a perfect wavy strand.
As I have naturally curly hair, (the bane of my life), I'm afraid I didn't take much notice.
It looked like a sort of cylinder.
Not much help I'm afraid. Sorry.

In the sixties, I used to go to bed with Sellotape plastering down my "curtains", and wearing a headscarf!!!! Lol.
