Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Reading that has made feel dizzy Neti !
Hello all ,hope you're all ok .Mr S has been hogging the computer doing his tax returns .Lots of huffen and puffen .Otherwise same old at shaneytowers .
The sun keeps trying to get out and at least it's not raining or blowing a gale for a change .

been down to local village for errands, priced getting a ring resized, will need and inset, cost 190 quid!!!!!! maybe next year.....
don't worry shaney, we're taking care of all your wind and rain today...and then we're sending it back! :)

I've got a lovely ring that needs upsizing but if that's what it costs woofy I don't think it'll be this side of xmas either.

Blimey ....I've got some rings that no longer fit .Can't get them over my knuckles these days.I think I'll just sit and admire them :)
Just done the weekly ironing, don't know why I bought a new Russell Hobs iron back from England, it drips everywhere grrrr. :-(

I burnt the bottom of the stew, well it was in the pressure cooker so I couldn't stir it, I sold the slow cooker, I can't do thing slowly! but have washed and scraped the pan and it's clean again. Just outting a throw (I use on the bed until we use the new duvet) in the tumble dryer. One of our algroba trees is so big that it now blocks the sun from my washing line! I said to Mr N yesterday, I may only have another 10 yrs to live (that's quite a lot really) and I want to live in a decent home, so he's taking 2 weeks off and doing things to the house! I notice that I speak backwards (the Spanish way) sometimes on here so have to retype it.
I decided to shred some of my old mobile phone bills, and clogged up the Rexel! takes forever to poke and push the screwed up bits of paper out. Anyone know if there is an easier way?
Its a bad time to get things done to gold rings if it means adding gold :( also i had assumed that the ring was 9ct and when the looked at it its actually 18!

I can't understand how you are managing to clog the shredder Neti .
We have a Rexel and we've never had a problem with it .Are you putting too many sheets of paper through at once ?
No shaney never more than 3 and they are staggered, atm it only goes in reverse! Will try it anothert day!!
in reverse, that sounds great, put all those torn-up bits of newspaper back together again.
It is fascinating jno, it sort of pokes back up all shredded!

My stew was delicious, even the homemade and microwaved then plopped in the stew dumplings were soft and fluffy!!
Am having dreadful time with internet at the moment, tried to check my threads but it shut down on me, email received but that is terrible, I replied to woofy and intended it to go to all but don't think it did! Nothing happy about any of my threads :-(
Microwave dumplings are better than any others I think. I am spoiling myself with another late night tonight because car goes for service tomorrow so no dog walk. We had a good busy dat today and nice DIY man is here tomorrow so that will be fun for the dogs.
anyway sleep well all. Neti I got your email and it had everyone else's addys on it.
not doing anything tomorrow, which will be nice. I have been filling the days recently with the London Film Festival, birthday shopping and the occasional exhibition. In spite of all that I seem to be sitting here about 20 hours a day.
Good morning everyone, are we still here??

Looks a tad overcast and nuboso(cloudy) here, guess Autumn will arrive soon.

Meant to be going to Ibiza on the bus this am with hija but no idea what state she is in! but she managed 2 plates of stew last night!
I'm feeling quite nuboso myself
nuboso...wonderful word. We are sat around here feeling nuboso because we had to get up early to hand the car over to the garage man. He takes it off for servicing and beings it back this afternoon. Hopefully also nice DIY man will drop in at some stage to sort out my sockets so i can tidy the kitchen again.
Hola...It was sunny but now it's very nuboso.
I'm decidedly brumosa thanks to next door's tiny town crier and my digestion seems to be moving faster than the rest of me so I'm waiting for it to settle down before I shuffle to the shops (if I can be bothered).
I'll be mailing very soon.
