Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

oh, the first link wasn't holographic like that, it just showed a big picture of a web on a wall, which is pretty much the way mine look already.

I'm not looking for calm, Robinia, just a bit of colour. It's sort of pale beige now and the glossy white doorframes have faded to much the same colour, so it's all very tedious. I'm hoping new glossy white on the wood and slightly more colour on the rest of it will just liven it up a little. Can't have anything too dark or too lurid as the hall is only narrow and doesn't get much light. So it needs to be quite pale but just enough colour.

Current frontrunners are Yellow Light and Gentle Yellow. But they change hue and tone every time I look at them or from different angles. So I may just pull a name out of a hat. And get it from B&Q on Wednesday with a biddy discount.
yes, I live in Beige city (as tarquin calls it... although I noticed on my last visit he's stepped on the blandwagon, ha). That's the trouble with light colours, some days my beige looks greenish.
What I need is to spray everywhere with that woofy, I love anything iridescent/ borealis/lustre/crystal.
Afternoon each. What a dull wet day. I've had a visitor for a few hours. Yesterday I was busy catching up with housework that got left all week.
Crazy wallpaper ladies. It would drive me potty. I'm just a plain white with a little self pattern on. Or just plain painted walls. Very boring really.
Happy Birthday Neti. I've messaged you on FB too so I hope you get it and you've had a really good day.
Going to have a night in watching telly and knitting. But I have a pile of pots to do before anything else and I'm really tired as well as I was awake at 4.30.
I used to go out every weekend didn't I!? Where we used to go the landlord has sold up so I don't really know what happens there now.
Off now - laters 'gaters - have a good evening and keep warm.

glad your tum's calmed down a bit, Jude.
I've had a very quiet day actually, getting ready for a thai meal this evening.strangely enough I'm not too bothered about partying atm!!
Tell me, I've had to missed calls on my English phone and it says "unknown" does that mean the caller has hidden the number, cos I have no idea who it can be?
We lived with white for forever as that is all they had over here, but now we are getting modern. They make the place so cold in the winter. Can't wait for my new fuschia boudoir!!!!
yes its a withheld number. If its my phone its usually someone trying to sell me something, get me compo for the accident I haven't had or reclaim my PPI ditto.
It's only this morning that I've had two missed calls, so can't be too bothered to sell me anything.

Off out in a min for our Thai meal.
oof have just come back from a local puddings and performances evening at the local church. I had three (small) different puddings and have eaten more cream tonight than I did in the whole of august and september....feeling a bit ick but it was fun! Dogs are running around in the dark and I am letting my tum settle.
Morning all, had a lovely meal out last night, but we always over order, and even hija couldn't polish off the lot, and she had a good try. It's amazing how quiet the village is at night, most places closing today (that's early). Soon it will be just we locals roaming among the tumbleweed.

Just going out locally for lunch, no beach today, I would but Mr N isn't too keen, that part of the summer is over for him!

Hope you are all OK and jude and now woofy's tummies are better!
Morning cobweb weavers...is there anybody out there? Too dark to see and wild, wet & windy yet again. :(

Oooh, puddings..."I have two puddings...."
Lol, name that tv sitcom.
can'tr see anything much through the wall of water here, not to mention the barely open eyes. I probably need my eyebrows threaded. Maybe I could get little cords put in them like a blind, then just sort of open and lower them when needed.
Robi you have got me stumped and I usually know sitcoms. its very damp and grey here. Might go out later.

Morning all
Wall of water here too .Same old ,rain ,wind , dreary.I fed with up with it .
What I need is some sparkle dust and a few puddings.
Hope you're all Ok though and I'm pleased you're feeling better Jude .
Picky laid the floor in the toilet for us yesterday so I'll be looking for some paint too. It's only brickwork so a pot of whitewash should do the trick :)

I give up too Robi, what is the sitcom?
It was Bread woofy, grandad used to say it when Ma Boswell took his dinner round on tray :) I've just been watching some on yt.

Now here's a funny thing...I found out by accident that even though I don't have hangovers a small glass of sprite makes me feel better if I have a sickly headache...

I love Bread, I like the original Joey and Aveline.
I had forgotten that Robi!
Interesting about the Sprite. GP's often (at least the do here) suggest coke (the drink not the white powder lol) to settle a dodgy tum and in the US, the folk remedy is ginger ale.
the original Aveline was by far the best. She died 3 yrs ago, she was only 54

ooh, yes Peter Howitt, all that blonde hair and black leather...I need a cold glass of sprite, haha
