Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

A Boy ...lovely .Congrats to the Cambridges .I wonder what they'll name him .Have you got any inside info Jno ?
Phew it's hot here .Haven't heard any rumbles of thunder as yet but I've covered the furniture up outside .I don't want a wet backside when tete a teting.

Lol Jude are you getting ready for the winter ..I'm knitting a scarf :)
Oight Oight lovelies ,sleep toight .
still awake, don't know why, dogs asleep
I'm still in bed..we've had a storm for 2hrs now, thunder is terrific. The butler's hiding under the stairs, can someone make me a mug of tea please, 2 sugars.
another sticky night but a cool start to the day. Distant thunder has got Shughy a bit edgy but the butler says all will be well so I have sent him to make Robi some tea. Odd thing, I can't seem to make a decent cup of coffee this morning, it all tastes like dishwater.
Just had a thought. The fact that its a boy solves the problem of "How far can we bury Diana down the list of names, if we can't avoid it all together"

Morning all
Really sticky and humid here .No storms or rumbles as yet but it's looking ominous out there .
It' s bound to bucket down as I've just put the washer on .
Hope you're all ok ..
Perhaps they'll give give him Spencer as one of his middle names .Must be difficult for them to choose though .It'll have to be something like George or James .
Morning biddies, gosh you are up early.

George Spencer sounds like a film star- it's lovely news isn't it, wonder if she had stitches.

You have thunderstorms? you lucky things, awful here, am starting with rashes under the boobies, hate all this heat.

Am meant to be going to Flower Power @ Pacha tonight but don't think feet will be up for it.
Morning again...another storm has just passed, rain like stair rods and even my free draining soil's got standing standing water. A couple of pigeons were bathing in a puddle & loving it.

I like the name Louis but I doubt that would be a first name...how about Phillipe or Theo? (That's for spitting image fans :)
Steady was 9lb 6 and I didn't have to have stitches I'm pleased to say. I was very lucky. I must have been in very slow labour because he was 14 days late and I was induced at 12 noon and he was born at 3.10p.m. I started with the gas and air but the end of the gadget fell off and I was past caring then and just got on with it. Admitted he wasn't my first so I sort of knew what to expect.

I'm really happy for the Cambridges - they look such a lovely couple.

Off to Tai Chi. Have a good day all. See yer later 'gater(s)
Hi Robi what about John - just John.
Oh spooky Jude, the name John came into my head this morning and I wasn't even thinking about it.
good morning all, another sticky restless night here but we had distant thunder around 6am, no rain but it feels a bit fresher. I piled the dogs into the car early and we went and got some essential shopping and went down and barked at the seagulls on the beach for half an hour (well i didn't bark). It was very hot and humid there though. Now having fresh strawberries for breakfast but I have to share.

Bright sunshine here .Never thought I would hear myself wishing it would rain .
I just went to the postbox and it was like walking into a sauna .
It's too muggy to move .
To peg or not to peg that is the question .Knowing my luck I'll just get it all the line and the heavens will open .
Well there doesn't seem to be any rain for you today shaney but that's the Met office so you might want to ignore it. I might have a wade to the shops shortly, it's reasonably bright at the moment.

Looks like we won't be seeing baby Cambridge before 6pm and and maybe not until tomorrow. Hope your oh hasn't got a square bum from the waiting waiting jno.

Lol..I spoke too soon there ..it's suddenly gone dark and rumbling in the distance ..raining now ...hooray.
no rain but quite a pleasant breeze and no thunder either. Sat here in state all clean and tidy waiting for the sky man cos my box has succumbed.
Hotter tah hell here and getting hotter, I am drained. Was sitting at favourite pavement cafe (Cosmi) this am when I saw a yoof help himself to some money left on another table to pay for drinks, he then scarpered, I quickly told waiter who raced after him and collared him, job well done! Too much thieving going on here! Saw my friends with whom I am going to Pacha tonight, bought some flowered garlands for the head, still waiting to hear if we are on guest list or if we have to pay!! Pacha starts at 1am!! and we are going to Ibiza Port at 11 ish to join in the hippie dancing and singing to get in the mood!!

Just made spanish macarronis for tonight, and chicken sate and fried noodles and peppers for hija who has gobbled them down and gone back to bed. Even she is moaning about the heat!
Have a lovely line of white washing drying in the sun.
the only King John was not a good precedent. Likewise the two King Charleses. There was a King Louis as well - the grumpy barons invited the French king to take over during John's unloved reign, and he ruled over half the country. Then John died and the barons were less grumpy so Louis went home to France.

Just been out in the thunder to get my neck pounded and crunched by the osteopath. Now feeling tender and battered.
What's wrong with Ethelbert?
