What type do you mean?
The electric ones or the ones with the special aloe Vera strips
Either way I cannot help as I use cream
I have used them in the past but always go back to using ordinary razors such as the Venus or Wilkinson Lady Quattro brands. I have thought about getting an epilator as they are supposed to be really quite good... but slightly painful to use.
you've never used a shaver? how old are you? what do you use now?
Question Author
sara same as others by the looks at it. Never thought of buying an electric one, i wanted to gauge some opinion first.
I thought every girl started out with a basic shaver!

redhelen, the electric type? i am surprised you can get them that cheap.
will have a look. Sara im not a neanderthal, just trying to find a decent alternative to buying these diddy ladies razors, mens bic, wilkinson type razors are ok, but apart from going to a salon to have them waxed, which is expensive, thought maybe try something else.
if you use a shaver, you'll be using it every few days (depending on hair growth). I use an epilator every couple of weeks!
Question Author
sara they can be expensive but i will have a look again at those, are they hard to use?
no, but they hurt like hell the first few times you use one. then you'll get over it :o)
Question Author

i just looked at a photo of one, it looks like jaws, good god.
mine's a Braun but I'm sure they're all pretty much the same.

seriously.. I now have hardly any hair growing on my legs or underarms. anything that grows is very soft and hardly noticeable. 2 mins with the epilator, and it's all gone for weeks!
but I may have screamed the first few times ;o)
Question Author
thanks i'll bear that in mind
I prefer a disposable blade .
