It is of a man with shoulder length hair, with a scarf around his head, and also a feathered hat on, he has a moustache and is almost dressed like a very ostentacious musketeer aside from the hat being smaller with a pink ribbon round it, he has two guns inside what looks like a scarfed belt and white and pink knee length trousers and boots with big buttons down the side. I know nothing about this fashion, country of origin or whether the man is a fiction or based on a real person, can anyone enlighten me? TIA

I have no idea, some sort of China?
Sounds like a pirate or a civil war figure, but without seeing it.....well. Best take it to an antiques shop

I have looked at images of Don Quixote and he definitely doesn't resemble any I have looked at, this man is adorned with gold buttons and fringing and aged in his 30's I would say. I know nothing about art!!!! and the statue also has the number 16 underneath in ink.
