My friend read Cecelia Ahern's 'Where Rainbows End' and really enjoyed it. I want to buy her a similar book for her birthday but not one by the same author, has anyone got any recommendations?

'more lives than one' by geoffrey iverson, i guarantee it will change your life for ever
I don't know if it is directly comparable but how about Victoria Hislop's The Island
Try Marion Keyes at amazon . Or type in Celia Ahern into amazon and see what other people bought .

Prudentia- not sure that the book you recommended is at all similar to the Cecelia Arhern one but thanks for the answer anyway!
Rosetta- I've always wondered about that one and have just read the review and it sounds really good but not sure if my friend will like it or not, will keep it in mind though!

Sorry Naomi, your answer wasn't there a minute a go! Yeah was looking at the Marion Keyes ones and found them through doing the Amazon thing lol, have you read any of hers that you particularly enjoyed?
I'm just recommending a book that you must not fail to read, if you are not totally absorbed by it I'll treat you to dinner
All of them !! I started with Watermelon and just kept going. Some of them are linked by being based on the different sisters but can be read in any order The real tear jerker is " Anybody out there" a fairly recent one but I dont think you can wrong with any of them ( She is my sister by the way ....NO NO she isn't . That was just a joke )

That's why I said thanks for the recommendation Prudentia.
Well in that case naomi could you get me discount lol? Will have a look through them then and see if there's one that I think would appeal, find it hard enough choosing books for myself let alone other people!
sophie, if you can't find it I have a copy and would be delighted to lend it to you, it's all about reincarnation of souls but with backup proof. love Prudentia xxx
Yea i think i would like to read that Prudentia...will have a look on amazon for it. x
Havent read cecelia aherns book but if its a light, fluffy read - anything by Patricia Scanlon should do
