She wrote a poem with the line - my footsteps in the air - does anyone know what its title is and a relevant website?

Thanks for your advice, will try.
my friend has a book she thinks it is in. do you have an email, if we find it we will send it to you....jules
Her poem was included in an Anthology of Nature Verse which she edited in 1983. It's first few lines are :-

Don't grieve, Don't grieve I shall be there,

Look for my footprint on the air

Sorry but I don't know of a relevant website that would help you.

That would be wonderful it is for a friend who is very ill and is making a book for her daughter for when she is gone. My email address is [email protected] - thank you julesk
Hi - is this the poem?
Stay!' said the child. The bird
said, `No,
My wing has mended, I must go.
I shall come back to see you though,
One night, one day -'
`How shall I know?'
`Look for my footprint in the snow.'

`The snow soon goes - oh, that's not
fair!'
`Don't grieve. Don't grieve. I shall
be there
In the bright season of the year,
One night, one day -'
`But tell me, where?'
`Look for my footprint on the air. '
