Well, it's a while since I read them, but as far as I recall, the answer is no.

It's a while since I read them aswell, but wasn't it footprints in the snow that piglet saw and he declared them to be heffalump footprints? And weren't the footprints really of Pooh and Piglet who were going round and round in circles?
