Probably not a lot, given the first editions were published over a hundred and thirty years ago (1876) and that it's still being published today.

The value would depend on the publisher and condition of the book. If anyone famous has either written an inscription in it or had one written to them, then it would hold more value, but you'd need to get it to a reputable auction house for a proper valuation.
See if you can find a similar copy in a charity shop. Their price will give give you an idea of what it's worth, i.e. not a lot!
1969 is NOT OLD (a senior citizen writes) and unless there's something unusual about it, the answer is not much at all. Maybe 50p or something.
