crusts on or off

the ad where the mother and the boy are arguing that the crusts should stay on or off really bugs me, when i was a kid i was told i could like or lump it. i certainly would'nt have been able to argue with my parents over what i wanted to eat. the kids are certainly the ones in charge nowadays it seems.
