Carmethian is a word I ignore and can find nowhere. It seems to determine the colour rose (or is it the verb?) I know a colour 'rosu carmin' in Romanian. My imagination does not go beyond that. does the word exist? Maybe it's a typo?
The line -- for what help it is -- is:

let me count the ways (that's Elizabteh Browning) of white, crimson, and rose carmethian'...

The lyrics from "Wear Your Love Like Heaven" a completely incomprehensible work by Donovon P. Leitch contains this verse:
"Color sky havana lake
Color sky rose carmethene
Alizarian crimson"
All of which are paint colors used by artists and available at any paint supply store...

Thank you. I found it, but only as his line. No colur in google. I hope it is flaring red, that's what i am translating, like the French carmine. Sometimes google can be such a nuisance.
Thanks!
