I am trying to put a picture n this site of : a young child with an apple in it's hand - which I think is a part of a larger 17th cent. painting, but don't know how to properly get it here. So will try ahttp://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u251/totamu ir/ODDSAPPLEPAINTING.jpg
It looks - possibly - Dutch. If you want it identifying then you'd probably be better off taking it to your local gallery, or even an auctioneer/valuer, if you think it's an original.

thank you for that, it is not an original, but a left over to be passed on to a great grandchild for sentimental reasons..
