Many years ago I saw Billy Cotton try a magic trick using a crossbow but he shot one of the dancing girls. Does anyone remember this? I don't think it was on his Bandshow, I think he was compering the Hippodrome or something similar.
I've asked this question on the TV thread but so far have had no replies so I'm trying here.
