Hardly Arts & Literature I know but I was wondering where I can get an 'Issue 1' DC Comic valued.... Surely there must be some website where you just enter the title, edition, condition and get back a five-figure evaluation!!

I've found a couple of websites that suggest that they'll value/buy comics. The links are: http://www.thirtiethcentury.free-online.co.uk/cata
logue/buying.htm
which is a UK based site which is interested in pre-1980 comics, and: http://www.metropoliscomics.com/buying/ which is a US site which is interested in pre-1975 issues. The details about contact are easily findable on both sites' home pages. BTW, what comic are you talking about?
I once owned a book i think it comes out every year i bought it from the Forbidden Planet shop and it is a comic guide and it covers a whole range of comics from the USA to the UK.I know a friend of mine contacted a well known Auction house in his area and they actually had a guy there who valued comic and tv items.Maybe that could also be something that you could consider.

@gg33 - Any news on your comic yet? Sorry, I'm just intrigued to know what comic it is and what value it is.
