i really need to find an artist that looks at branding, (as in branding people so that they all look the same by giving them a tattoo or something) in their work...not sure if anyone actually does this...but if u know of anyone that even roughly relates to that rather poor description then please let me know

thanks a lot xx

Wally Olins has written two books called Wally Olins on Brand and The New Guide to Identity.

This seems to be the sort of thing you are looking for.

You should be able to find these in the business section of your local library (Dewey numbers somewhere in the 650s)
I can make you a branding iron!!
Toni and Guy brand their employees by giving them false names. Tens to relate to top stylists or fashion at the time if that's what you mean.

Alternatively Dell computers identify all their employees by a number, most people don't know anyone elses name!
Not sure how helpful this will be, but Michael Landy created a corporate brand in scrapheap services (or something similar). I didn't know how broad your search was!!!!!

Also don't some of the elite armed services have tattoos??? or is that just necessary to complete a plotline in war films?
