Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Help needed here. I have a mixed quiz (some simple, e.g. A water container and soldier's transport ($) which is Tank) and some cryptic (e.g. Choc bar in the Spanish sun makes you smell nice (7) is Aerosol. I have one clue with two possible answers, one which I can answer but am unsure of the word and one I am completely stuck on. the first of these is
Sounds as if you are eating bird food (7) which could be swallow but one of my friends suggests succeed (from suck seed). I am not sure - birds can't suck and not all eat seeds.

Second is Hired car - a Greek word for skin (8). Is taxiderm a word? Or has the compiler got the wrong number count and it should be taxidermy or taxidermal? Taxiderm is an allowable Scrabble word.

Third is Flesh eating fish that makes you laugh (7). No ideas here. Help or advice very welcome.

1. I'd go with succeed. In the clue it's you not the bird who's eating.

OK maybe succeed is better, but its not great clueing for me.... eating suggests sucking seed not suck seed
Am not sure about why its pianha either but can't do better.
I dont get taxiderm either if its like a crossword clue as theres no definition in the clue, but it does fit the rest of the clue so is probably what there wanting?
