Aldi is German.
I saw a documentary about them a while ago that pointed out that they made a lot of effort understanding British tastes and shopping habits. Surely that's pro British.

We went to Aldi for the first time in over a year as I've been shielding and used Sainsbury's delivery service. Spent most of the time looking at the prices of things and saying, 'Oh my God it's half the price of Sainsburys '. Our shop came to £60 less than the usual Sainsbury's shop and extras included Easter Eggs and Thornton's Continentals, Gravlax salmon, half a dozen bottles of wine and their own brand spiced rum.
