Has anyone read any of the Captain W.H. John's books from the 1950's. Not the Biggles stories but about a boy lost on the Scottish grouse moors. The strange lights he saw through the dank mist being in the shape of a cross?
A mad professor, and his nephew also a flying saucer with adventures galore!!!

Yes, I read "Kings of Space" and "Return to Mars" 60 years ago. I enjoyed them more than "Biggles".
woofgang - does the forum still exist on Abebooks? I couldn't find it ages ago when I was looking for help with a book.
I hadn't realised he write other stuff, not that I've looked.
I rather liked 'Biggles Flies Undone'. I think Biggles must have been around my age then.
