I hope you're not trying to escape writing your own short story for school, and planning to copy something that your teacher won't recognize.

If you are doing what Kingaroo says, watch out! My friend did that, taking a short story from an unheard of book - turned out it was written by the teacher he handed it into!

Plus if you are doing that and you get caught and it is a piece of coursework for an external exam, you will disqualifed by the board for plagerism. Nasty.

But I'm sure you are doing no such thing, and that your homework is a piece of research on the unsung writer....
