Two more charged with 4 counts of murder, making a total of seven persons altogether.

What are we not being told over this ghastly murder, this seemed to be a
wholesale gang attack on this house, surely it was spotted by a number of people?

Since they have been charged AOG - restrictions in law are now in place about how much comment we can make.

There is quite a lot we havent been told. Asians on the street repeatedly contacted the Police and said it was a mistaken identity gang fire.
They also said it was nothing to do with the stabbing a few streets away but that is back int he news.

But still - murder cases are usually heard within 60 d of charging so we may not have long to wait....

AS for a gang running down the street shouting look everyone, we're setting fire to this house ! umm I dont think so.
Have you made a mistake AOG, the men charged don't sound foreign?

Jackson Powell
Nathaniel Mullings
Shaun Carter

There may be things we have not been told for legal reasons ie. so they get a fair trial. Playing guessing games is a bit pointless at ths stage.

I can't understand where you are coming from Gromit, what has the fact that the men don't sound foreign got to do with it?
If we are not being telt something, how are we expected to know what that something is? Am I missing the point?
Are u expected to know the unknowable CL ?
good question

Think Jo-Hari window.

we are gonna have to wait for the trial I think

If a gang of seven plus were to set fire to a house in your street, don't you think someone would have something to say to the press, when they came around asking?
// what has the fact that the men don't sound foreign got to do with it? //

Not the line you were peddling on the case last week AOG

// The young lad who was murdered the day previous to the fire killings (who incidentally hardly gets a sympathetic mention) was black, so if it was a revenge attack, wouldn't it be fair to say that it would most likely be a black against Asian revenge attack? //

It could be a mistake (wrong intended victims), it could be drug related, it could be right wing extremists, it could be a revenge attack. We don't know so we will have to wait for the trials.
AOG

Arsonists don't march down the street with flaming torches, they tend to do their work clandestinely. There was no CCTV and no survivors, so the chances are that someone did inform the police about suspicious persons. Whether that was a resident or someone known to the accused, we shall have to wait for the trial for answers.
> don't you think someone would have something to say to the press, <

the press don't need to speak to anybody they can make things up as they go along
There does seem to be a lot of people arrested over this affair. Perhaps some of them have been charged with conspiracy, rather than the arson or murder. I hope that justice is done.
"What are we not being told?"

How could anyone answer an oxymoronic question like that?
I believe we're not being told, in the view of some ABers, at least, that the arsonists are not quite British, even if they were born here.

Really?

AOG - is that it?

Is that what you're driving at?

Or is it something else? Something more sinister?

No, not true, the seven that have been arrested, have each been charged with four counts of murder.
So AOG - what's your theory?

Where on earth does it say that?

It is malicious statements such as yours that can cause trouble on AB, we do not need the likes of you telling such untruths, don't your like generally blame the Daily Mail of doing such things?

Why ask me, make one up for yourself, you are generally good at that.
I suppose among the many things we're not being told is whether any of the accused have ever had a trial with Manchester United or whether they like Ben and Jerry's ice cream; but presumably that's not what you're after?
AOG

Oh no - that would be quite rude of me. I have respect for my elders...please go ahead first. I'm sure that if you start the ball rolling, others will feel confident in stating their theories.

So, based on what you've read so far...what do you think is being held back?

I assume you must have some ideas, otherwise you wouldn't have posted the question.

(Stands back and listens to the crickets chirruping in the otherwise silent autumnal breeze, whilst in the distance, a lonely dog howls)....
I don't think AOG has given up on his theory of

// ...most likely be a black against Asian revenge attack //

Obviously Shaun Carter is a common name in the african/caribbean community so he may be on to something. If the murderers do turn out to be black then that proves something, doesn't it?
