I am trying to remember the names of the books our school teacher used to read to us whilst in junior school, I think they were called " Fudge " but I am very far from certain on this, I remember the stories were about an American boy with a younger brother, any help would be appreciated on this. They were early eighties

Our teacher used to read these to us as well - they were fantastic!  I'd forgotton about them until now- thanks for reminding me!
It was made into a TV programme in the mid-late 90's I think.

I read these when I was wee....and they were hilarious.  Judy Blume's a fantastic childrens author and I'll read them to my wee boy when he's older.  I still remember the bit about Fudge's wee brother wearing the peas at dinner!!
