I don't think it can, no. I/m sure the point of Quidditch ids it goes on until the snitch is caught, even if it takes months.

Yes because they get points for scoring goals, if you had to catch the snitch there would be no point in scoring goals but I dont know what the time limit is

No, the game only ends when the snitch has been caught. However the team that catch the snitch can lose the game if the opposing team have amassed enough points.
