You don't have to be a self-important wind-bag with too much time on your hands to join this merry band - but it helps!
Ahh! Reading the list, I see they did invite me after all - I must have misplaced my invitation.

Some background information on the group for you, AoG. Yes, we- ermm, they do have influence.

Since MPs are invited to attend these secret meetings are they not in breach of declaring their interests to the public that put them in power?
Why,aog? Do they get paid for going?
In what way is this meeting with it's guest list and agenda published in the Telegraph secret?
^ hardly anyone buys the Telegraph.
It's secret because aog has never heard of it, jake. There are number of organisations which MPs may be invited to address; Chatham House comes to mind, although I must say I've never seen an MP there, it is still open to them. They might not like it; Chatham House Rules apply and those present are not supposed to blab to anyone, let alone journalists, about what is said :)

/// It's secret because aog has never heard of it, jake. ///

And obviously also secretive to the Telegraph.

/// The Bilderberg, the secretive annual gathering of businessmen, politicians and defence officials, today meets at The Grove hotel in Watford. ///

I wonder if the full minutes of this 'none secretive' meeting will be widely published for all to see?
-- answer removed --
well if this is who is against it, then i am for it (joke!!)

The secret group who run this country are self-appointed.
aog, there is a difference between 'secret' and 'secretive'. You said the meetings were "secret meetings". I hesitate to suggest that you don't know the difference between the two words or that you post regardless of the fact..
