No I won't be buying the book, and I'm surprised it's the Sun she's agreed to have it serialised in.

However - pink kittens I think your remark that she is a 'disgusting woman' disgusting in itself. She has been through the worst thing imaginable, and is still going through it. Is she really doing so wrong, as a mother in turmoil, by wanting to keep her...

Just one thing.Maddie is officially missing as far as I'm aware theres been no evidence of an " abduction".
I'm not convinced of this couple's 'innocence'.
I know the area/resort that Madeleine was taken. We used to frequent a bar called Chaplins further down the road. It isn't/wasn't as easy to keep an eye on things from where they were as the Mccanns make out - I mean, they didn't see her being 'taken', did they? Other matters such as sedating the children, blood found in the hire car boot, her favourite toy being washed and Kate's own words when they found the child had gone 'she's been taken, somebody's taken her' seems odd to me. My first thought would have been that she'd woken up and come looking for us, not that she'd been taken. As does it being Madeleine that was taken, and not one of the younger children. A child that age would be hard to keep quiet, she would be asking for her mum and making lots of fuss.
I love books about killers, mysteries etc but I have already read it in The Sun (Sun is like getting a new comic every day! I also read The Mail, Telegraph and 'i'). The McCanns have just done a press conference on TV and written to the PM. Bit creepy to say the least. That little boy, Ben, has never been found.
Can we not get onto the suspicion thing again? The last thread was closed because of how it went.... This is about the book, not the guilt or non-guilt thereof of the parents.
I saw the interview this morning on the lorraine kelly show.I couldnt believe how gerry had the audacity to question the commitment and competence of the police and the authorities both in the UK and Portugal. He seemd to be suggesting they were negligent for not following things up properly.I believe the parents initial negligence to be the main reason for maddies disappearance.I cant see anything to be gained from buying this book.Maddie wont be found and it will just drag on and on and on.
"I cant see anything to be gained from buying this book"

Darn tootin' there'll be another one, when the money runs out again and they've thought up some more 'new evidence'
2short and if it was why would they write a book about it ?Where would the money go?What exactly would be gained by that? This book is to raise funds towards the search. If they find her i would hope they would disappear from public view and give any cash left to charity.
Heartless, just bloody heartless.
I'll leave you to it.
I just hope teddy boy that nothing ever happens to a child you know or love anytime. Maybe then you wouldn't be so quick to judge.
Has anyone ever thought that if maddie is still alive and living with a new family that she may actually be safer there?
