new emails appearing but saying I got it days ago

why does this happen, I will be on the edge of my seat to hear some important news and then when it arrives it appears half way down the page of emails and says it was received 2 days ago, when it has only actually appeared to the naked eye???

Sounds like a problem with your ISP's mail server. Drop them a line...

it only ever happens with one persons emails so is it their email thats having problems????

Possibly, but you will need to contact your ISP.

or you have inadvertantly clicked another column in the email thingy, so that they are not prioritised by date. check, and if needed rectify just by clicking the date recieved column
