To find one of your facebook friends numbers on their profile and then start texting them?

I've done it to a couple of people, to teach them to put their number on display for their hundreds of friends (some of which they probably don't know). But wouldn't dream of doing it to anyone it would properly scare, or the person whose friend got attacked from meeting up with someone online, but she doesn't have her number on display anyway.

I tell them that they know me and get them to guess who I am by giving them clues, after the initial shock . . .

i pay for it, but it's the minimum contract I could find on a phone and it was dead cheap, but we've dealt with the company before and had no problems. It works out expensive for me to start with, but you can redeem most of your money back (IF you remember, they make their money from people who don't, or lose the papaerwork.)

And? I would either ignore it thinking someone has the wrong number or ask who it is. If they didn't tell me I'd tell them to do one....and ignore.

it's in my dads name but I pay him for it.
