So we wouldn't have bombed Belgrade then?
So we wouldn't have instituted regime change in Serbia then?
Serbia, one of our staunchest allies in the 20th century, resisting an insurrection within it's own borders (like us in Ulster?), possessing no weapons of mass destruction, posing no threat to national security and an attack was not in the national interest.
Which were Robin Cook's reasons for resignation, so why did he support the attack on Serbia, was it because Israel was prosecuting another one of it's foreign adventures?

Yes Jake, we have quite a few dubious allies (like Georgia), if the war on terror (an oxymoron if ever there was one) was being waged then I feel we'd have overlooked their excesses.
It galled me to hear Cook talking on Iraq when he did all that and more in Serbia, he even supported the Harris doctrine on bombing.
Our interventions in Yugoslavia were inspired by our interventions in Kuwait and to act as a distraction to our lack of intervention in Palestine.
