Bring Back Stars for Answers

Is there any chance of getting star ratings back for answers. It would stop (hopefully) people taking a separate post to say individual thank yous. Also it would help those who answer to know that at least their response was viewed, which at the moment we have no way of knowing.

Agreed. We need either a system to say thank you with directly (maybe via private message) or a rating system.

I for one am in total agreement with you, the star rating was one of ABs better points but sadly it's all gone downhill since the big reshuffle many moths ago, we also lost our individuality by the techies taking away our avatars which they & the editors promised they would reinstate but never have!!

No not keen on stars either thanks...it doesn't hurt to take a minute to thank one/all for their replies.

This is probably the thing that has been most missed since the introduction of "New" AB.
The Ed has been asked to bring back the stars,he says it is on the "to do" list,but like all the other things on that elusive list they never get done.
All that does get done is AB Ed faffing about with unecessary tweaks.

I didn't like the stars. There's too much stuff star-rated. I vote against the star ratings.

Stars are totally valueless.

Many posters give stars to the answers that they agree with, despite well constructed answers that do not unfortunately support the posters opinions.

Many posters gave the full complement of stars, to ALL the answers.

We don't need "stars" to complement answers.
