Users Unable to Sign in

Good Evening,

I hope your weekend has been well.

I have been struggling with the admin interface today - not exactly how I wanted to spend my Sunday!

With regard to users who cannot sign in - there seems to be no correlation betwen your accounts. I will get the tech team onto it first thing tomorrow.

Also, thankyou Weeal for putting together a list of users who were having problems! It made my job a little easier.

If there is any further information you can pass on to me I would be most pleased.

I hope users can hold on until Monday morning!

For those of you who have made it - I hope you had a good weekend. Anything much happened? It seems it was very quiet on here - I didn't notice any nasties when i popped on.

Youre like a bus -nothing for ages then 10 at the same time lol!

I wont ask a question as I wont get an answer -however I will say that there are plenty folk who would like the oppo to compalin about having to work at all never mind on a Sunday !!!!!

Mainly it is happening when users sign out of their profile, they then cannot sign back in again. As an experiment I have signed out of my old PC from IE, been unable to sign back in, changed to firefox and my id was already there, signed out of that one, couldn't sign back in, Basically there is no relationship between the problem I had on there and the browser, it was the same message about not using anything for a name but letters and numbers.
If I hadn't actually typed in my user id, because it never got to that screen, how did it know what I was going to type? unless the problem is related to my specific user id and using the . in the middle.
but that sounds too human a thing for any programme or interface or whatever to anticipate, shirley?

Oh yes thanks for reminding me Dris, yeah, some of us are currently not working and so less of the complaints,. and weeal, don;t be suggesting Spare was drinking at workm that's a sackable offence

Dot -he should know what the craic is.Im assuming they didnt drag someone off the dole with no experience to implement this.He surely has an Hons in some kind of Computing to take charge of a mediocre task .

Ive had a good weekend Spare Ed BTW -boring because of the weather but that apart lovely time with my kids -well phone calls from one as he is abroad :(

The correlation is clear - ANYONE who logs out cannot then log back in again.

All through this weekend you have been steadily losing members. Only those who stay logged in are still able to post.
