Since using the new format on AB, this < P > keeps appearing at the bottom of my Q/A & I have to keep deleting it before posting.Could an AB Tech tell me why please?

Hi smudge, haven't seen you for a while!  Welcome back.

Smudge, I noticed LindyLoo had the same thing on one of her postings.  Perhaps it is a special code that appears  when an AB person is Popular or Perfect......?

Well, it's the HTML code for a paragraph break - it never used to work and you used to have to use two line breaks markers to put in a para -"<BR>" - but apparently that doesn't work anymore either.

zgma, thank you. You are very kind & it's nice to know my humble contribution to the site is appreciated!

Fakeplastic, thank you. Nice to know I might be thought of as popular, don't know about perfect thought - he he!

Waldo, thank you too. Since using the new format on AB, I had noticed that it was necessary to return twice for a paragraph. So has the < P > been sorted now do you think?

*though

Hi smudge where have you been? We've missed you!

I'd like to think it means Popular and Perfect just because I know I'm both....(cough, splutter)!!! :-)

Just one of those gremlins that got away....AB Editor might catch next week...(hint hint!!)

As you've probably not seen all the changes, have a look at

http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/AB-Suggestions/Question 69403.html

we went abit crackers!!!

http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/AB-Suggestions/Question 69217.html

Tells you how to view a history of the Q&A's you've posted (including the banned ones!!)

Take care and see you around!!

Hi lindy loo, thank you for wondering where I'd got to! We've just got back from 2 glorius weeks in the sun, celebrating our Ruby wedding anniversary! I like to think I'm 'Popular' too - but not so sure about being perfect, he he! Nice to see you have a good sense of humour, just like myself & a few others on AB.

I tried the first web page, but it's not displaying for some reason. The second one is amazing & an excellent idea. I didn't realise you could look at the history of your contributions to the site, under 'your profile'. I must have been a very naughty girl, as although I've participated quite a lot on AB, I've also had some Q&A banned! Wish I could read what they were!

Until next time, you take care too.

Whoops just realised you can view details of banned Q&A. That will make intersting reading! Be back in a few months - only joking!

The first link was 'nice colours ED' but I see you've posted there....We had a brilliant time experimenting!!

The other thing is that Fakeplastic is holding a dinner party and everyone is invited!!

I haven't looked at this one today but on Banned Q&A's with 48 replys!!!!!

Hope you feel better soon

How do you read banned Q&A?  I'd love to know which ones of mine were banned!

Question Author
Hi SteveD - if you click on My Details then My Profile, a list of 'Your Questions' or 'Answers you have given'. Which ever list you choose, scroll down & you will see your banned Q or A highlighted in red. Hope I've got that right!

Hi Smudge.

I have now got some 'P' as well.  They obviously signify a paragraph break.  Silly thing is I didn't get them in an answer I have just posted in Animals and Nature, but got them on the question I have just added to this Section.

Congratulations smudge on 40 years of wedded bliss. May you have many more years of the same ahead of you!!

FP...I hope you posted AFTER doing your homework!!
