Coud you have gone to university??

I think i would be up for getting into uni as a wrinkly, when i talk to some of the young uns at work that have A levels,what a bunch of thickos, they havent a clue in history, geography,the classics, and worst of all grammar!!!

Support work, but a couple are going on to uni to do nursing another pharmacy!!!

I did a 2yr Art & Design course that was within the State Uni system in NY...so I could have continued-but I wanted to work.
I have also done 3+years of an Open University degree...but had to stop when I went back to work full time. Could never keep my eyes open.......but I enjoyed the learning.

Just generalising leggy,i like to discuss writers like dickens,and chat about politics and current events, they just look flumaxed when you ask them a question, and say they didnt to that at school!!!

Too much of what they do now is by choice.......there are not enough required basics.

I was a mature student, i did 4 years, 1997- 2001 , I would have done a year less but I had to re-do the linal year as my Mum had died. I loved it, got a 2:2 History with English, really enjoyed the studting but mever got involved with the student life lol 3 kids at home!

I've done two degrees as a mature student, and lots of other courses as well.
