my worcester 24cdi boiler [lpg],has packed in,the gas is connected ,the power is on,but all that is happening is the central heating light is flashing every second.can anyone help please?the boiler is in a static caravan and uses propane gas.

According to the manual for this boiler, the flashing light signifies a �burner lockout�.

Possible faults include the gas valve, control PCB, flame sensor, spark electrode, wiring harness and even flue problems. If the flame is not lit, it could be something as simple as a spark electrode adjustment/clean � but I think you are going to have to give your local gas boiler repairman lots of money.
Meantime power it down and then restart.
If it still flashes try rapping the gas valve as someboyd turns on the heating.
If you don't know what a gas valve looks like best avoid this technique.
for christs sake do not start rapping the gas valve or any other part in the boiler, apart from the fact its stuffed full of 240 wiring you could also loosen a gas conection.

sometimes resetting the boiler is enough but if it keeps going to lock out then there is a fault and you need to call out a heating engineer.
