I doubt anyone intended to actually hurt you.

You pride yourself on telling it as you see it. Whilst you view this as an admirable quality, to many it is not. Tact and decorum and treating people delicately also goes a long way. There are many wrongs in this, and some I agree, have been against you. But and its a big one, it didn't come out of no where. No one is trying to resolve this and it's escalating out of control.
