re post- belkin router

Hi, i asked before how to stop piggybacking on my router, ethel was kind enough to reply, she said to look at my internet access settings( telly screen on the bar). but since ive put the router on its dissapeared. Anybody help in non technical jargon K.

hi go to your network conections either via control panel OR start/connect to/show all conections then right click on your router conection select properties and put a tick in the box that says "show icon in notificattion area when connected" on the general tab - this is for xp sp2 but all widows based machines are similar
