i think the posting of links should be banned.people are not answering questions from their knowledge or experience, but from the web, which i think is wrong.

Quite right and it suits you...
oh dave, and all i hear is you bleating on about nothing!

you have not to my knowledge contributed anything to this site, you do not ask or answer questions, you just follow people round and stick your ... i'd say oar... but yours isn't that big... stick your toothpick in, wave it around and expect a big response... but you never get it do you?
never get any attention do you?
you never have any opinion or anything constructive to add, do you?
your "moaning" post lamely asking who me and Normanthedog "thought we were" was not only against Site Rules but also was ignored by everyone wasn't it...ahhh did you feel a bit silly?

if you don't like the way this site is - you know what to do, don't you?
norman - you could not wind me up if i was a wind up clock, you fool, answering questions is why we are here, and answering with an opposing opinion to you does not constitute a wind up.

is this really the best wind up you could think of?
its pretty feeble even by your standards
I seem to recall a certain canine AB member demonstrating his 'knowledge and experience' about driving tests. When I posted a link to show that his answer was incorrect, he responded by calling me a prat:
http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Motoring/Questi on328045.html

The same dog used his 'knowledge and experience' to answer a question about whether children could occupy the front passenger seat of a car. He simply (but incorrectly) answered 'No'. Once again, I posted a link to correct this misinformation.

That 'knowledge and experience' came into play again recently, with a question about speed limits. Again, I had to post a link to correct the inaccuracies of our doggy friend:
http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Travel/Question 379779.html

Sometimes 'knowledge and experience' seems to mean much the same as 'wild guesswork'. This was demonstrated when the hound in question answered a question about Barcelona taxi fares. The link I posted seemed to tie in with the experiences of those who had actually done the journey but not with the canine response:
http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Travel/Question 379769.html

The doggy 'knowledge and experience' also seems to extend to information about IPP prison sentences which, regrettably, has led to him providing false hope for a mother with an entirely inaccurate answer here:
http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Law/Criminal/Qu estion384706.html
The correct answer was provided in my post, with an appropriate link, here:

Now, I wonder why Norman doesn't like links? ;-)
