Can anyone please explain why some questions and answers are removed?

According to my profile I have posted 13 questions and answered 228 questions. One of my questions and 4 of my answers have been removed.

I always try and be polite when I put pen to paper and try not to offend anyone. When the editor removes these items would it be possible for a reason to be given, so that if we have offended anyone we would at least know the reason why.

I am a fully qualified electrical engineer and have worked as as Facilities Manager for over 30 years covering all aspects of property maintenance. My answers are always helpful without being malicious.

Think yourself lucky, I've had 15 questions removed and 50 answers- and I'm lovely (stop laughing at the back!). Well ok some of my replies have been errrr out of context shall we say but not all of 'em!

I've given up wondering why Ed & Co remove my postings when they do, I just resign myself to a "meh" when I clock another one biting the dust.

Some of your questions may have gone because you've (maybe?) posted them in more than one category? As for the replies you've done, I've no idea and I doubt you'll get a response from Ed explaining why either.

Just resign yourself to a "meh", make a brew and marvel at the foibles that is AnswerBank :-)
I fully sympathise CSG2306

I wish Ed did give a reason, even if its an automated email with suggestions - it would be something!!

Oh well....."meh"................kettles on - anyone for a brew???
